This month’s wallpaper was made (paper cut, yes!) by the talented illustrator Santiago Uceda, whose stylistic work never ceases to amaze me.

I’m sure in some parts of the world people can get away with saying that spring starts in February (I’m looking at you Californa) but where I’m from it’s not safe to even mention the word “spring” until March. It’s a confusing month; the weather is back + forth, people are god-damning Punxsutawney Phil for his February transgressions, plants grow + wither as a full-on-shorts-wearing-day can be followed by a frost. What the F, Mother Nature?

Santiago’s paper cut piece offers some perspective on just how fickle + confused this time of year can be. A trees roots turning into snakes? Plan to expect the unexpected in March.
