Year One Desktop Wallpapers

Hey everyone! I’m really excited to announce the launch of YEAR ONE, the first of many projects to drop on HF.

What, huh? I thought it’d be great to commemorate the first year of HF by getting together with my favorite artists + creating some exclusive freebies for the people that are visiting the site. Double Whammy.

The Year One wallpapers are a series of 12 wallpapers, created by some of my favorite artists. Each issue will be available for download on the first of every month for the duration of 2010. Every installation of the project will be themed specifically around that month or time of year, which I think is going to be really great. I’ve seen a handful of the interpretations thus far + it’s definitely exciting to see how each artist invents their idea of what their month is all about.

If things go well + y’all like the project, my hope is that at the end of the year, I’ll be able to compile all of the pieces that appear in Year One for a 2011 calendar. Fingers crossed.
