Joke Leonare

I’m gonna save this young Belgian artist some trouble + skip right over the first name. I’m sure she got enough of it in grade school. Hey, people called me “Dildo Haigh” in the 6th grade. I feel the pain.

Joke Leonare does a little bit of everything, but what I really love are her line drawings. Crude + rudimentary, her illustration, which sometimes features collage, comes off as effortless. A pretty damn hard thing to achieve.
